Find your balance

Back in Oslo after a week in Spain, creating some balance, after a month living my life as a true yogi. Yoga is truly my greatest passion, but because I love yoga it doesn't mean im going to cut out all the other parts of my life that makes me happy. That wouldn't make any sence. It's all about balance! Last week I balanced it all out by travelling as a true European backpacker. I had way too much meat, carbs and wine (still in a carb-coma), and I didn't practice asana once! But felt mindful pretty much all week, and I still do.

I love this quote; Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy!

I for sure would not be happy without the balance!

Mindfullness!

Mindfullness!

Mix it up! Go surfing as your asana every now and then. It's awsome!

Surf, eat & repeat in San Sebastian

At the moment enjoying a week in San Sebastian that I spontaniously booked after a good surf in Costa Rica. What an amazing place! Since i got here I haven't had time to sit down for a second. Met beautiful people the second I arrived, surf is two minutes from the hostel, the city is so gorgeous and so alive, you just want to be in the middle of it, sucking it all in, and I haven't even started on the food yet. The old town is packed with amazing pinxto-bars, pinxto touring makes exploring this city so much fun. You actually can't go wrong here.

One of the beautiful views in San Sebastian. There is plenty.

The old town is a perfect place for people-watching, pinxto-touring, shopping and just feel the life of the city. This city never sleeps. Its only a five minute walk from the surf-beach, perfect for a lunch break.

Pinxto, you cant get enough.

Pinxto, you cant get enough.

Pinxto is what you eat in San Sebastian. So much fun, and great tasting food. You can order hot pinxtos from the menu, totally worth the wait or just pick cold ones from the counter. Just remember; dont overeat at the first spot, there is always plenty of more to come.

Church-steps in the middle of the old town is the ultimate hang out place in San Sebastian, such a good vibe. You cant miss this spot!

The hostel, Surfing etxea.

Surfing Etxea is one of mye absolutt favorite hostels so far, located only 3 minutes from Zurriola, the surfing beach. This is a perfect place to meet cool people, and lots of activitys to join, arranged by the hostel-staff. They also have surfboard rentals, wich makes it easy to jump in the water when the waves are pumping.

Yoga teacher training in june.

A week ago, I got back to Oslo after a month in Costa Rica doing my first yoga teacher training. I really wanted to start this blog prior to leaving, but that just didnt happen. The YTT was a "once in a lifetime" experience and part of the reason Im starting this blog. Therefore I think its important to share the experience. The training was challenging, fun, hard, awsome, social, to long, too short, impossible to describe with words, and I still havent really digested it all. All I know is that it made me realize that I want to teach yoga, more than anything, and that I have so much more to learn, enough for a whole lifetime. Namaste.
