Now started our third week in San Pancho and it feels like home in a way Sayulita never did. I can't believe I am leaving this beautiful place in only a week. I feel like I know pretty much everyone in town, and I am truly gonna miss everyone when I leave. It's a big difference travelling to places where you meet a lot of other travellers and to places where you mostly meet and hang out with locals. It's easy to forget that you are on vacation in their reality, they have their entire lives here, family, friends, history, and I am a part of that only for one brief moment. For me, this is a "once in a lifetime" experience, for them it's their lives. Travellers staying for days or weeks and leaving after a short periode of time. It's completely normal here and I believe that it's not always easy to keep getting attached to people that leaves you after a few days or a few weeks. I am truly grateful to be let in to the social community here and to be able to experience so much cool stuff. I have learned a lot more spanish (still a work in progress), have had so much amazing mexican food and been introduced to tons of cool places. It's definitly the best way to get to know a new culture and country. I feel like I have really learned to know the place, thanks to the hospitality of all the amazing people that I have met here. It means the world!
